Sub: Launch of pan-India Awareness and Outreach Campaign on 2nd October, 2021 from Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Sir/Madam,
As you are aware that NALSA has conceptualized a pan-India Legal Awareness and Outreach Campaign from 2nd October, 2021 to 14th November, 2021 and launch event will be held on 2nd October, 2021 from 11AM to 12 Noon in Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
2. Hon’ble The President of India has been pleased to grace the occasion as Chief Guest. The Programme will be witnessed by the August presence of Hon’ble the Chief Justice of India & Patron-in-Chief, NALSA, Hon’ble Minister for Law and Justice, Government of India, Hon’ble Executive Chairman, NALSA, Hon’ble Chairperson, Supreme Court Legal Services Committee and other dignitaries.
3. I am under direction to request you to ensure that
(i) the programme should be streamed live on NALSA YouTube Channel as well as other television channels including Doordarshan (information to be shared with you in due course). The programme must be screened live through Taluk and District Headquarters including remotely placed court campuses wherein Legal Services Centers or Legal Aid Clinics are established.
(ii) All the DLSAs be directed to share the YouTube link with District Administration, Police Administration, Police Stations, NGOs, village panchayats, Panel lawyers, PLVs, other local level functionaries and Press and Media persons so that message from the programme may disseminate to the last man in the queue.

(iii) On the morning of 2nd October, 2021, Prabhat Pheris at headquarters of DLSAs and Talukas be organized to celebrate birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi wherein placards for legal awareness may also be displayed.
As you have already shared the Action Plan with NALSA and in another couple of days, NALSA will share certain working modalities with you, though, Action Plan will be released on 2nd October, 2021 and a copy of the same will be supplied to you in the post lunch meeting but prior to that please ensure that teams for village-to-village awareness campaign are formed for the week beginning from 2nd October, 2021 to 8th October, 2021 and action in compliance to NALSA e-mail dated 11.09.2021 is initiated from 2nd October, 2021 itself.
