Sanad in Gujarat – Bar Council Gujarat – Form & Procedure

Just After completion of the LLB ( 3 Years Program or 5 Years Program) everybody are Ready to become Lawyer / Advocate. Friends Here we are going to give you full information and a Video Lecture in Gujarati Language to Fill up the Form of Sanad.

To Become a Lawyer you have to apply in the Regional Bar Council Office. In Our State of Gujarat the Bar Council of Gujarat is situated in front of Gujarat High court . You May visit the office of Bar Council and take Form of Sanad or You Can Download the Form from the website of www.barcouncilofgujarat.com here we have downloaded the form for you. you can download it from below.

The Bar Council of Gujarat has revised fees of sanad Rs. 25000 for General and OBC Category and Rs. 22000 For SC ST Candidate. and Issued New Guidelines & Instruction for the Candidate about documentation in a proper form. Click here to Know More.

Authors General Instruction For Candidates. 

Dear Candidate Top Most Things to be Kept in Mind before Filling up the form are as under.

• The Timing of the Bar council of Gujarat Office is 11 to 5
• If you take Print of the Form it must be on Legal (Green) Page. (Don’t Use White Page)
• Photo graphs must be as per Rules are as under (4) & (5)
• For Ladies :- Black and Full or Half Sleeve jacket or Blouse, white collar stiff or soft, with white bands and Advocates, Gowns or (a) White Blouse, with or without collar with white bands and with a black open breast coat. (b) Sarees or long skirts, (white or black or any mellow or subdued colour without any print or design) or Flare (White, black or black striped or grey) or Punjabi dress (churidar -kurta or salwar-kurta or without duppatta white or black.
• For Gents :- (a) A Black buttoned up coat , chapkan, achkan, black shervani and white bands with Advocates Gown, or (b) A Black open breast coat, white shirt white collar, stiff and white bands with Advocates Gowns. In either case long trousers (white, black stripped or grey) or dhoti.
• Don’t Forget to do Counter signature where ever you see (*) this mark.
• Specify ( I am Not ) and Yes / No Details
• Take All Marks Original For Verification and Certified Copy of Each.
  • 10th Marks Sheet
  • 12th Marks Sheet
  • School Leaving Certy / Birth Certy ( Any One)
  • Graduation (B.A./B.com/B.sc Any Degree You have – Last Year Marksheet and Degree certy if any )
  • All Semester Marksheet of LLB
    • Details Required to fill up in the form
      • Sem Name – University Name – College Name – Passing year – Attempt (one or two) – percentage
  • Cast Certificate (For OBC , SC, ST )
• Affidavit (Plz Read it twice Most IMPORTANT)
  • You have to make affidavit on Rs. 50 Stamp if you fall under this category
  • Your Age is Above 30 or You have not taken Sanad after completing your LLB and As per Colum No . 16 You have to submit affidavit that ‘:i was not serving any where , not doing business any where as well as not engaged with any trade or profession. Kindly Contact Notary Advocate.
  • If Yo have any correction or Spelling mistake in Name or surname in any document than you have to make affidavit to declare that which name is correct.
  • If you have any duplicate document and original is not found or lost then you have to make affidavit to submit the duplicate certificate.
• Change of Name / Surname / After Marriage Name Change requires a Rajkot Gazette copy of that change. and Affidavit along with.

• Signature and Seal of the Advocate on Photographs.
• Certificate of Two Advocates are required in the form. (No Relative Advocates are valid)
• Certificate must contain relation and details like. “He or She used to come in office and taking practical guidance of Law , i know him/her from the last 3 Years

How to deposit the Sanad back to Bar Council of Gujarat ?

You have to download the form from this link :- Download

and Deposit the Original Sanad, Original I Card, Reason for Depositing ( Example :- Notification or Appointment of Service) and Certificate of Practice.
