⚖️ ભારતીય ન્યાય સંહિતા (BNS) માં સજાની જોગવાઈઓ

👉 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS) મુજબ સજાઓની મુખ્ય જોગવાઈ Section 4 માં આપવામાં આવી છે.

BNS મુજબ કુલ 5 પ્રકારની સજાઓ (Punishments) છે:

1. ⚰️ મૃત્યુદંડ (Death Penalty)

• સૌથી ગંભીર સજા
• Rarest of rare કેસમાં જ આપવામાં આવે

2. 🔒 કેદ (Imprisonment)

કેદ બે પ્રકારની હોય છે:

(a) Rigorous Imprisonment (સખત કેદ)

• કામ સાથે કેદ (hard labour)

(b) Simple Imprisonment (સરળ કેદ)

• કામ વગરની કેદ

3. 🔗 આજીવન કેદ (Imprisonment for Life)

• આખી જિંદગી માટે કેદ
• કેટલાક કેસમાં remission શક્ય

4. 💰 દંડ (Fine)

• નાણાકીય દંડ
• અલગ અથવા અન્ય સજાઓ સાથે આપી શકાય

5. 📊 Community Service (નવી જોગવાઈ)

👉 આ સૌથી મોટો બદલાવ છે BNS માં:

• સમાજ સેવા કરાવવાની સજા
• નાના ગુનાઓમાં ઉપયોગી
