ગુજરાત હાઇકોર્ટ દ્વારા વર્ષ 2026 માટે સિવિલ જજની ભરતી માટે અંતિમ પસંદગી યાદી જાહેર કરવામાં આવી છે, જેમાં કુલ 103 ઉમેદવારોની પસંદગી કરવામાં આવી છે. પરિણામના વિશ્લેષણથી જાણવા મળે છે કે આ વખતે મહિલાઓએ નોંધપાત્ર પ્રદર્શન કર્યું છે. કુલ પસંદ થયેલા 103 ઉમેદવારોમાંથી 54 મહિલાઓ અને 49 પુરુષ ઉમેદવારો છે, જેના કારણે કુલ પસંદગીમાં મહિલાઓનો થોડો વધારાનો ભાગ રહ્યો છે.
ટોપ 20 રેન્કના વિશ્લેષણમાં પણ મહિલાઓનો દબદબો જોવા મળે છે. ટોચના 20માં 12 મહિલાઓ અને 8 પુરુષ ઉમેદવારોનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. અનેક મહિલાઓએ ઓપન મેરિટમાં (General category) સ્પર્ધા કરીને સફળતા મેળવી છે, જે તેમની મજબૂત સ્પર્ધાત્મક તૈયારી દર્શાવે છે. પરીક્ષામાં સર્વોચ્ચ ગુણ 250માંથી 160 રહ્યા છે, જ્યારે જનરલ કેટેગરી માટેનો અંદાજિત કટ-ઓફ લગભગ 120 ગુણ આસપાસ રહ્યો છે.
આ પરિણામથી સ્પષ્ટ થાય છે કે ન્યાયિક સેવાઓની પરીક્ષા દિવસે દિવસે વધુ સ્પર્ધાત્મક બની રહી છે અને મેરિટ આધારિત પસંદગી મહત્વપૂર્ણ બની રહી છે. સાથે જ ન્યાયપાલિકામાં મહિલાઓની વધતી ભાગીદારી ન્યાયિક ક્ષેત્રમાં બદલાતી પરિસ્થિતિ અને વધતી પ્રતિનિધિત્વની દિશામાં મહત્વપૂર્ણ સંકેત આપે છે.
