Difference between giving false evidence and fabricating false evidence?
- Giving false evidence define under section 191 .
- This offence is committed when a person is legally bound by an oath or by an express provision of law to state the truth or bound by law to make a declaration upon a subject.
- It is not essential that false statement should be on important subject.
- The effect of false evidence is not essential on the person before whom false evidence is given.
- While giving such evidence there should be some judicial or other proceeding.

- The effect of fabrication of false evidence is necessary on the concerned authority.
